French Chateau Hosts Semi-Catered Service
A highlight of any French holiday is enjoying delicious authentic cuisine prepared by talented cooks. Burgundy Chateau guests have the opportunity to enjoy a semi-catered service, offered by the Chateau Hosts. Reflecting the Chatelains background and experiences, the cuisine served at the Chateau takes its influence from British, Italian and of course Burgundian cuisine resulting in unique seasonal dishes. Where possible, ingredients are fresh and organic, locally sourced or home grown. Guests are assured of the tastiest of dishes to match the local world famous Burgundy wines.

Entrées (Starters)
- Tomato Salad
- Oeufs en Meurettes – poached eggs in a red wine sauce served on a warm baguette
- Escargots de Bourgogne – snails in a buttery, garlic, parsley sauce, with fresh baguette to dip
- Tomatoes with a Shrimp mix stuffing
- Tomato Soup
- Courgette and Tarragon Soup
- Oeufs en Cocottes – baked eggs with a cream and sorrel or mushroom mix
- Goat’s Cheese Salad – with warm local cheese, grilled almonds, and a drizzle of local honey
- Peach, Ham, Mozzarella & Mint Salad
- Melon & Jambon de Morvan (the Chateau’s own version of Parma Ham)
- Garden sweetcorn with a delicious cream & butter sauce
- Radishes with salt and butter
- Sicilian Fennel, Orange and Black Olive salad

- Quiche & Salad, with the Châtelaine’s renowned vinaigrette
- Magret de Canard & Green Bean Salad
- Prawn and Courgette Linguine or Prawn and Courgette couscous

- Ham Saupiquet, with green beans, new potatoes and green salad

- Gougères Pizza, pizza with a Burgundian twist, and a variety of toppings
- Stuffed Courgettes – with minced meat à la Bourgignone
- Poulet à l’Estragon – chicken in creamy tarragon sauce, with new potatoes and green beans

- Cheese Soufflé with leafy green salad, made with Châtelaine’s renowned vinaigrette
- Spaghetti bolognaise, made with from local Charolais beef

As most of the Vegetables come from the Kitchen Garden, the availability of the above dishes depends on what is in season.

Young Children: Children’s menu on request. Parents are encouraged to prepare food for children themselves and serve earlier.
